A typical day includes a lot of music and a lot of fun.

A typical day at the Walla Walla Suzuki Institute may begin as early as 9 a.m. and end as late as 4 p.m. Each full-time student will have at least four hours of classes per day, which can include the following:

Each student is asked to play a polished piece as a solo at the first meeting of their master class — an opportunity for the teacher and student to get acquainted musically. The teacher will then look for opportunities of technical and musical aspects to further strengthen together throughout the week.

Our program is designed with the understanding that parents will be involved, as they are at home, with lessons, practice, and the general supervision of their children.

If a parent has multiple children in attendance, it is recommended to pair up with another master class parent who can take notes for your child, as we understand you cannot be multiple places at one time!
